Power Plus is seeking a Generator Service Technician with 5+ years of diesel generator experience to service and troubleshoot 5 kW to 4,000 kW systems. The role emphasizes customer service and ongoing learning in a multi-industry environment across the United States.

Qualified candidates should have mechanical and electrical aptitude, technical schooling, and flexibility for shifts, weekend and on-call rotations, with travel as needed; Journeyman Electrician badge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in diesel generators.
• Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kw–4000kw generator systems.
• Interact with customers and correctly fill out paperwork.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Our Generator Service & Maintenance Division is seeking qualified Generator Service Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw while providing best in class service to customers!

Generator Service Technician Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kw – 4000kw generator systems
• Interact with customers
• Correctly fill out paperwork
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
• Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric and or like military experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies.
• Available to work various shifts, weekend, holidays and on-call pager rotations with occasional out of town travel/overnight stays.
• Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes accordance to OSHA regulations.
• Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required.

Total Estimated Compensation: $104,760.00 - $130,500.00
