Job summary

Dave Wright Subaru in Iowa is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead our high-volume service department. This role is ideal for a skilled technician ready to transition into leadership and manage technicians and service advisors.

You will train and guide a team, streamline dispatching, and maintain strong customer service while collaborating with other departments to reach dealership goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow.
• Follow processes and hold the team accountable to them.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and manage service advisors to help them grow.
• Provide ongoing training to service department personnel.
• Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings.
• Motivate and encourage service staff to reach full potential.
• Maintain above-average customer service scores for the department.
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals.
• Other duties as required.
