Position Overview:

The Shop Foreman plays a critical leadership role in our service department—balancing hands‑on technical expertise with team guidance and workflow management. This position is ideal for an experienced technician ready to take the next step into leadership while mentoring and training newer technicians in a high‑paced, growth‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shop operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion
• Provide hands‑on diagnostic and repair support to technicians as needed
• Mentor, train, and develop entry‑level and mid‑level technicians
• Assist in dispatching work and prioritizing jobs for maximum productivity
• Ensure all repairs meet Toyota and dealership quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to communicate repair status and needs
• Stay up to date with Toyota systems, tools, and technical bulletins

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician (Toyota experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Passion for mentoring and developing technicians
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must have Toyota Master Technician Certifications
