American StaffCorp in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead materials management across the facility. You will act as a working foreman, directing a team of about 5 and engaging in sourcing, PO execution, logistics, and inventory control.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure material availability aligns with production and customer commitments, while driving continuous improvement and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain leadership in manufacturing.
• Hands-on leadership on the shop floor with day-to-day execution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Experience with JDE ERP or similar ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership for materials, purchasing, and logistics across the facility.
• Support sourcing activities, supplier engagement, and PO creation as needed.
• Develop and Coach materials professionals; promote ownership and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Programs to align material availability with production.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management.
• Establish strong supplier relationships and identify opportunities for cost and lead time improvements.
• Oversee inventory planning and control to minimize excess and obsolescence.
• Partner with production leadership to support realistic production schedules.
