Job summary

Harvey Nash Inc. seeks a hands-on Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support a Caterpillar engine plant, covering the workflow from raw material through final assembly on the shop floor.

You will read engineering drawings, collaborate with Design Engineering, and partner with Quality and Operations to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements. Strong CNC knowledge and clear communication with operators are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong machining/manufacturing background required.
• Experience with process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and communicate with Design Engineering.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, CNC machines, machine controls, and machining environments.
• Experience on the manufacturing shop floor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day shop-floor support for manufacturing operations.
• Support process improvement and manufacturing process optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production/process-related issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings; coordinate with Design Engineering.
• Communicate effectively with machine operators and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to improve processes and product quality.
• Understand machining processes, environments, and machine controls.
• Work with CNC programmers and machine controls.
