Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and optimize production flow on the Dallas shop floor. You will develop tooling, fixtures, and processes while collaborating with production and maintenance teams to sustain high-quality output.

The role focuses on hands-on problem solving, 3D CAD design, and driving improvements across machining, assembly, sheet metal, and composites. On-site work in Dallas, with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience as a manufacturing or mechanical engineer.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and drafting using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, NX, or similar software.
• Experience with shop floor activities and manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, sheet metal, composites).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize production flow, tools, jigs, and fixtures using 3D CAD software.
• Develop and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and clear assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to prototype and implement tooling and process solutions.
• Lead process-improvement projects to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
