• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with handling, staging, and moving raw materials and finished sheet metal.
• Package sheet metal products according to customer and quality standards.
• Build and prepare wooden skids and pallets for shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Support machine operators to maintain workflow and production levels.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Keep the shop floor clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform general warehouse and production support tasks as needed.

Material Handler / Shop Floor Helper

Location: Somerville, NJ
Pay: $17/hr to start with fast advancement into the $20s within 30-45 days
Shift: Training on 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, then transition to 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for motivated and dependable Material Handlers / Shop Floor Helpers to join our production and warehouse team. This entry-level position supports day to day operations by moving materials, assisting machine operators, preparing products for shipment, and helping keep the shop running efficiently.

What You'll Do
