Job summary

Appvion is seeking a results-driven EHS Manager to lead safety and health systems across our manufacturing environments. You will reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and prevent injuries by embedding a strong, employee-driven safety culture with hands-on shop floor presence.

Responsibilities include developing and sustaining programs, guiding incident investigations, and collaborating with locations to share best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety sciences, Environmental Science, or closely related field (CSP preferred or working towards certificate).
• Minimum of 5-7 years professional safety and health experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive cultural change.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and sustain safety and health systems designed to eliminate injuries and reduce losses.
• Provide shop floor leadership and coaching to engage employees in safety.
• Coordinate OSHA compliance efforts and incident investigations to drive corrective actions.
