Job summary

Space Age Electronics is seeking an Electronics Assembly Operations Manager in Sterling, MA. You will run the daily production engine for multiple product lines, allocate labor, and maintain flow from assembly to shipping.

The role demands hands-on leadership on the floor, ensuring OTIF and safety while guiding process improvements. You will lead a cross-functional hourly team, oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• Leadership on floor for 20+ hourly staff
• Hands-on inventory control and warehouse management
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 production settings
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic) preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plans across multiple assemblies (Eclips, AcerBox, Shield) and manage throughput.
• Oversee cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Lead labor allocation and on-the-floor guidance for a cross-functional team.
• Drive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, visual management, lean tools).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain on product transitions and CI projects.
