Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Summerville, SC seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and rebuild heavy equipment in a modern shop, focusing on excavators, dozers, wheel loaders and haul trucks using OEM software and schematics.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong diagnostic skills (electrical/hydraulic), and the ability to work in a team within a clean, family-oriented environment. Competitive hourly wage with benefits and flexible start times.

Qualifications

4+ years of heavy equipment mechanical experience.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Electrical and hydraulic diagnostics knowledge.
Engine and after-treatment systems expertise.
Valid driver's license and own hand tools (up to 3/4" drive).
Willingness to pass background check, criminal record check, and drug test.
Strong multitasking and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and rebuild heavy equipment in shop ( excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, haul trucks ).
Read schematics/blueprints and use OEM software to troubleshoot faults.
Collaborate with a small, experienced team in a clean, well-equipped shop.
