Job summary

ForceSource is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy equipment including excavators, loaders and dozers. The ideal candidate has diesel knowledge, troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple repairs while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with the team in a fast-paced shop. A valid driver's license and own tools are required; CDL/forklift cert preferred.

• Demonstrate high degree of proficiency and accuracy with repairs
• Fill out accurate work orders and all other paperwork that applies
• Perform routine preventative maintenance; manage multiple repairs at once
• Strive to grow in mechanical areas of machine repair
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing a safe work environment and take an active role in maintaining a safe work environment
• Work with team members to ensure high quality work
• Work in team environment with a positive attitude
• Must follow handbook regarding dress code for the service department
• Must be flexible and highly organized with the ability to work independently
• Must be honest, respectful and trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics
• Knowledge of hydraulics, hydrostat, engines, electrical, fuel systems, and/or charging systems

POSITION SUMMARY:

Service Technician: Highly skilled and driven mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment. Experience in diesel knowledge along with troubleshooting, repair and diagnostics on all types of equipment including skid loaders, excavators and medium to heavy duty equipment. Employee must have strong work ethic and manage multiple repairs at once. Must have general working knowledge of machine operation and specific techniques and operations.

Specialized skills in engine rebuild and/or welding a plus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
