Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Store Manager to lead a flagship store and deliver an outstanding family-friendly shopping experience. You will motivate a team to hit sales targets while upholding our brand standards and operating procedures.

You will oversee daily operations, coaching, scheduling, and inventory control, with a focus on building relationships with customers and teammates. A high school diploma and 1–5 years in retail management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has 1-5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
• Builds constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
• Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
• Displays an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Exhibits ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with Territory Sales Manager as needed.
• Displays cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrates expertise and proven ability to lead general retail practices and procedures.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Has basic computer skills.
