Job summary

Scheels is seeking a shop associate in Tulsa to support shoe departments, stock, and customer service. You will retrieve shoes, process returns, and help customers with a warm, friendly attitude.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and offers ESOP participation and health benefits. As part of the Scheels team, you’ll help ensure inventory accuracy, prep devices, and collaborate with Specialty Shop Managers to meet department needs while delivering a standout

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport to the staging area for sales associates.
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to correct locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Proactively engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance.
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to the start of each shift.
• Partner with Specialty Shop Managers to identify and address urgent department needs.
• Show strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Demonstrate ability to work both independently and with others across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Work the assigned schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.
