Job summary

Tulsa Scheels is seeking a retail associate to support the shoe department and front-line customer service. Compensation starts at $16 per hour.

You will retrieve shoes from back stocks, move items to staging, and help process returns while keeping inventory accurate and organized. Ideal candidates will engage customers with a friendly attitude, assist multiple shoe categories, and work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport to the staging area for sales associates.
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to correct locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance.
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to the start of each shift.
• Partner with Specialty Shop Managers to identify and address urgent department needs.
• Present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Work independently and collaboratively across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Work scheduled hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
