Caleres' Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate dedicated to delivering the best shoe-store experience. You’ll welcome customers, recommend styles, and help build loyalty by ensuring the store feels welcoming and well-organized.

You’ll participate in pricing, stock handling, and daily tasks, while embodying our culture and providing stellar service. A flexible schedule and a passion for shoes are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory) run smoothly.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable experiences reflecting our culture.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals.
• Maintain high standards, follow company policies, and seek feedback for growth.
• Promote diversity and inclusivity; assist with training and development of teammates.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect footwear and delivering the Famous Feeling.
