Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to create engaging in-store experiences and drive customer loyalty. You will maintain store standards, assist with inventory, and share product knowledge to help customers find their perfect fit.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, embracing our culture, and delivering the Famous Feeling to every guest while working a flexible schedule in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Excellent communication with associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong knowledge of general retail practices.
• Team player with a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, and inventory) are dialed in and the store runs smoothly.
• Champion our culture with stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals.
• Act with integrity by following company policies and seeking feedback for growth.
• Uplift teammates and assist with training and development when needed.
• Be a shoe-savvy associate, making recommendations to help customers find the perfect fit.
