Job summary

CACI is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to develop mid-level and senior-level Shipyard project personnel, strengthening leadership development and workforce outcomes.

The role emphasizes human-centered design in a customer-facing capacity, building relationships, influencing leadership skills, and delivering training engagements. It requires commuting to Pearl Harbor area and a flexible hybrid-remote work arrangement to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance prior to start and subsequent final DOD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or minimum 5 years of directly applicable work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in consulting, training, education, workforce development, or leadership development.
  • Experience facilitating meetings attended by senior leadership.
  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to efficiently manage competing priorities, multiple concurrent taskings, and firm deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workforce organizational assessments and needs analysis. Map out a scope and sequence using backward planning.
  • Provide support in developing, outlining, and conducting key events and milestones to meet customer needs.
  • Plan and deliver engagements of varied duration (.5 day - 9 days) for groups numbering 10-200. Customize these events to the development and timing needs of the customers you support.
  • Manage communications, customer expectations, and program deliverables. Simultaneously execute multiple customer engagements, meetings, and routine/scheduled deliverables.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop strategies for learning and training delivery across the Naval Maintenance Community.
  • Build and develop relationships with integrated stakeholders across the Naval Maintenance Community.
  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.
  • Other duties may be assigned in support of contract taskings and mission success.
