Venture Dynamics is actively seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team at the Vigor Shipyard in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on MIG, Stick, FCAW/Dual Shield, and Flux Core welding to NAVSEA standards, with deck plate experience valued.

You will fabricate and inspect joints in a dynamic shipyard setting. The position offers 40–60 hours per week, day and swing shifts, with overtime as requested by the client and a contract duration of 6–12+ months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG, Stick, FCAW/ Dual Shield and Fluxcore welding techniques.
• Ability to pass NAVSEA welding certification tests.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in shipyard environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality structural welding using MIG, Stick, FCAW/ Dual Shield and Flux Core techniques in accordance with NAVSEA standards.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components in shipyard environments.
• Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
• Ensure all welding tasks meet or exceed quality control standards and are ready for inspection.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance.

This position will perform Welding duties in all stages ofrepair and modernization of Vessels at the Vigor Shipyard in Seattle, WA.

PAY IS $30.00-$34.00/HR, DOE.

Contract Duration: Starts in November and goes 6-12+ months.

DAY AND SWING SHIFTS AVAILABLE.

Position Overview

FCAW/ Dual Shield and previous deck plate experience andresume for client review.

This role requires a proactive and detail-orientedprofessional to engage in Structural and Welder tasks, ensuring excellence inevery aspect of the job.

Citizenship- Must be a U.S Citizen with proof (Original/Certified Birth Certificate or U.S Passport).

Certifications- Maritime OSHA 10 certification.

Experience- Previous shipyard experience required.

Working Hours- 40-60 hours per week.

Scheduling

Diverse shifts include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.

Monday through Friday with overtime, and weekends asrequested by client.
