CTR Group is seeking a Structural Welder for our client in Pascagoula, MS. Immediate openings and urgently hiring. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered; pay starts at $42 per hour with a per diem of $147.

Responsibilities include performing structural welds in a shipyard setting, using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GMAW-P, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. OSHA guidelines and gauge-based inspections are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years shipyard welding or equivalent in industrial welding/fabrication.
• Proficient with oxygen/propane torch and gouging equipment.
• Experience following OSHA shipbuilding safety standards.
• Ability to read gauges and weld with fillet and butt gauges.
• Skilled in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GMAW-P welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding in a shipyard setting.
• Operate welding equipment including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GMAW-P processes.
• Use oxygen/propane torch and gouging tools as required.
• Adhere to OSHA rules for shipbuilding and industrial safety.
• Inspect welds using fillet and butt gauges.
