Genesis Industrial Staffing has a client in the Pascagoula, MS looking for Structural Welders to join a manufacturing team. The role requires SMAW and FCAW welding with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is experience-based up to $38/hour, with a sign-on bonus up to $500 and PTO. Work may include days, nights, weekends, and overtime; per diem of $147.04 for eligible distances and bills may apply.

• Ability to pass welding assessment in 3G, 2G and 4G per spec.

• Must pass hair follicle drug screen and 7 year background check
• Pay is based on experience, up to $38 an hour
• Per Diem of $147.04 for days worked is offered if you are 75 miles away and have a power, water, or gas bill in your name.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to pass a military specification welding assessment in the vertical (3G), horizontal (2G) and overhead (4G) positions

Job Description:

A Structural Welder is responsible for joining various types of metal materials using multiple welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), commonly known as stick welding, and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW), commonly known as wire welding. This position operates within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment that may require working at heights, in confined spaces, in varying weather conditions, and across multiple shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Safety is a top priority, and all work must be performed in compliance with company safety policies and industry standards. Candidates must be able to pass a welding assessment in the vertical (3G), horizontal (2G), and overhead (4G) positions in accordance with applicable welding specifications and quality requirements.
