Qualifications

• Driver's License is required.
• TWIC or ability to obtain a TWIC is necessary.
• Must be physically capable of crawling in tight spaces.
• Bilingual (knowledge of Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supplying health and safety resources.
• Conduct environmental, health, and safety inspections.
• Maintain environmental, health and safety records.
• Assist with bilge, tank, and cleaning operations.

Skills

Safety experience in ship and barge repair

Ability to communicate in English

Knowledge of Hazmat

Forklift operation

Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access)

Ability to teach and interact with groups

Education

30hr OSHA Certification
