Stevens Towing Company, Inc. has a full‑time position available for a Shipyard Lead Person. This position requires experience in drydocking tugs, barges, and other marine vessels. The employee must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required and needed.
The Shipyard Lead Person oversees aspects of work on customer equipment and is responsible and accountable for the performance of shipyard personnel for safety, quality, cost, and scheduling, including administrative functions needed to support the customer’s project. The Shipyard Lead Person helps execute projects in line with customer requirements and Stevens Towing Co., Inc.’s policies and procedures while delivering excellent customer service. The Shipyard Lead Person promotes a professional and safety‑conscious working environment and performs other duties as requested or required.
