Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC in Charleston, SC, seeks Level II UTSW Technicians for a shipyard contract. You will perform NDT examinations of materials per NAVSEA procedures and report results. Competitive pay at $55/hr with a per diem of $320/day (GS A rates) offered at $320/day.

Required are Level II NDT certification, UT Level I and UT Level II/UTSW Level II training per SNT-TC-1A, and the ability to work in a dynamic, industrial environment. U.S. Persons for ITAR compliance apply.

Qualifications

• Level II NDT UTSW Technician with documentation of education, training, and experience in applicable NDT method(s).
• Certification of Completion of UT Level I and UT Level II/UTSW Level II Classroom training meeting SNT-TC-1A.
• NAVSEA and/or shipyard work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT examinations of materials per NAVSEA procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Set up and utilize NDT testing equipment.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope and priorities.
• Prepare written instructions and report results of examinations.
• Work independently and support team members.
• Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
