Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Level II UTSW Technician for a shipyard contract near Charleston, SC. The role offers $55 per hour and a per diem of $320 per day (7 days), with overtime as needed and steady work.

Responsibilities include NDT exams, setting up equipment, and guiding trainees. Candidates must meet NAVSEA qualifications, pass background and drug screenings, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a required extensive background check for access to the shipyard.
• U.S. Persons only per ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT examinations of materials per NAVSEA procedures and specs.
• Set up and utilize NDT Testing Equipment.
• Supervise on-the-job training and guide trainees.
• Interface with managers and clients to determine scope and priorities.
• Prepare written instructions and report examination results.
• Work independently and support teammates.
• Participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
