Job summary

VTG is seeking a Laborer/Helper to work in various shipyards across the Hampton Roads area. The role involves performing general manual labor, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with basic site tasks under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel. A Secret clearance is preferred or the ability to obtain one, and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform general manual labor tasks and follow guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
• Loads/unloads trucks, moves supplies to proper locations, and cleans work sites.
• Assists in installation tasks and minor equipment repairs as directed.
