Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Laborer/Helper to work in various shipyards across the Hampton Roads area. The role involves general manual labor, loading and unloading materials, and assisting in tasks as directed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to travel, and be a US citizen. A valid driver's license and potential Secret clearance are preferred; ability to obtain and maintain clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to travel as required.
• US Citizen required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials.
• Moves supplies and materials to proper location.
• Stacks materials for storage.
• Cleans areas and performs basic maintenance tasks as directed.
• Assists in installation of equipment or communications hardware as needed.
