Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2 years of related technical experience.
• 0-5 years of experience in construction or landscaping.
• Must be able to perform up to 8 hours of continuous physical labor per shift with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and general labor duties in support of shipyard operations.
• Perform floor maintenance using floor scrubbers and floor extractors.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist skilled trades personnel such as carpenters, painters, pipefitters, electricians, mechanics, and welders as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, shops, dry docks, piers, and surrounding areas.
• Remove debris and waste following safety and environmental procedures.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely.
• Support setup and breakdown of work areas, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Follow shipyard safety regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures.
