Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Manager of Shipyard Facilities Planning to lead strategic planning and oversee the physical footprint and real estate portfolio at the Groton shipyard. You will develop and maintain the Shipyard Master Plan, optimize space usage, and coordinate office moves and renovations in collaboration with Operations, Facilities, Engineering, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams with direct reports.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shipyard Master Plan management and maintain the master plan.
• Oversee space planning and optimize facility utilization.
• Coordinate office moves, reconfigurations, and renovations with contractors.
• Translate business requirements into effective physical space solutions with stakeholders.
