Job summary

American Cord & Webbing Co. is seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Lead in Rhode Island to oversee daily shipping, receiving and warehouse operations. The role coordinates with sales, manages paperwork, and ensures on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing shipments, generating BOL, overseeing receiving staff, conducting cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the workspace tidy.

Qualifications

• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with data entry on a computer.
• Ability to use basic inventory software.
• Skilled in the safe operation of hand jacks, lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certified or multiple years of experience.
• Commitment to accuracy and safety in shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving and warehouse operations daily.
• Prepare and process shipping paperwork, labels and packaging.
• Generate BOL and coordinate shipments with carriers.
• Record tracking data and maintain freight Excel sheets.
• Supervise receiving staff and assign daily tasks.
• Conduct cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Report issues and conflicts to management promptly.
