Demco is seeking a Shipping Associate to accurately assemble, package, and ship products per engineering prints and shop orders. You will follow approved procedures while maintaining product integrity and quality.

The role involves locating orders, using measuring tools, loading goods for transport, and mentoring teammates to meet production goals. A strong team mindset and safety focus are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawings.
• To use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate the hoist.
• Able and willing to work customer service.
• Retrieve orders, collect product and package orders.
• Complete customer orders to ship product by the shipping date.
• To mentor and train other employees.
• Able to locate on hand quantities to complete products.
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately.
• Complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis.
• To load and secure products on trucks as needed.
• To work as a team and be self motivated to work independently.
• To actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things.
• Meet reasonable production goals.
