Job summary

ABC Supply in California is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for picking, packing, and loading trucks. You will ensure shipments are accurate, labeled, and ready for transport while maintaining a clean, safe dock.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing, and good communication. Experience with forklifts and teamwork is preferred. Training includes safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read, write clearly, and do simple math.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work with others.
• An orientation toward customer service is important.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and load trucks.
• Use an LPN and DSI to manage movement of inventory and orders.
• Identify, inspect, label, and weigh material for shipment.
• Stage trucks for live load.
• Complete shipping/BOL documentation.
• Cross train and work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and shipping dock.
• Follow forklift requirements and regulations.
• Participate in Safety Programs and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job description

This position is responsible for picking, packing, and loading trucks. The associate ensures materials are packaged to arrive to customers undamaged and safely handles the movement, storage, and loading of materials—both on and off racks and into semi-trucks—using appropriate equipment.
