Position SummaryA Warehouse Associate will accurately pick, pack, and manage inventory to keep the warehouse running smoothly. They will uphold high levels of quality control to ensure accurate order fulfillment. The Associate will also maintain a clean and safe working environment and may operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to handle materials safely and effectively.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoading, unloading, sorting, and staging inventory in the warehouseWarehouse up-keep: ensuring organization and warehouse appearanceEnsure inventory stock matches delivery requirementsSafe operation of forklift and other material handling equipmentScanning and recording of customer orders and inventoryComplete transfers of merchandiseInspect Warehouse equipment dailyProper use of lock out/tag out proceduresMust participate in regular inventory countsInspecting merchandise for damageTake inventory and complete associated paperworkPreferred SkillsAt least one (1) year of warehouse experience (required)HVAC experience preferredForklift certified or ability to become certifiedAttention to detailWritten and oral communicationAble to work well with others in a fast-paced environmentAble to pass a drug and background screeningAbility to lift to 50 poundsEducationHigh School diploma or GED equivalent requiredWorking ConditionsPrimarily based in the warehouse or stock areas to assist with inventory and customer pickups. This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the shift, with regular lifting of products and materials up to and including 50 lbs.
