Job summary

Laticrete International is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Bethany, CT, to pick, pack, and load orders safely and efficiently. The role includes forklift operation, inventory management, and collaboration with the procurement and QC teams.

You will handle order fulfillment, perform pre/post forklift checks, and participate in annual inventory counts while maintaining clean work areas and safe practices throughout the shift.

  • Ability to read and interpret directions and order details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Safe operation of forklift and RFGen gun.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Order Picking (80%): Review regular orders and pick materials using a forklift throughout the warehouse and assemble in a staging lane. Ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Housekeeping (10%): Keep aisles and rack locations clean of debris and empty pallets.
  • Forklift Inspections (5%): Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections to ensure maintenance and report any necessary repairs.
  • Inventory Audit (5%): Assist in annual inventory audit by performing product counts and logging results.
  • Order Loading/Unloading (10%): Load completed orders onto trucks and delivery carriers. Unload LTL carriers and truck loads. Perform receiving duties, verify items, inform purchaser of discrepancies, and maintain shipping documentation. Assist Procurement & Accounts Payable regarding purchase order/invoice issues and corrections. Work with Customer Service and QC team to process RMAs and carrier returns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Twist/Bend: Twist/bend 50% of the day.
  • Squat/Climb/Crawl: Squat/climb/crawl 20% of the day.
