SendCutSend Inc. is seeking a Shipping Technician in Reno, NV to prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. You will pack, inspect, and ship orders while maintaining an organized and efficient work area.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with team leads to meet daily production goals in a LEAN/5S environment on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping or inventory systems.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Package customer orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe and accurate delivery.
• Determine optimal package size and shipping method based on order contents and requirements.
• Verify part counts and perform final visual inspections to ensure orders meet quality standards.
• Prepare pallets for efficient freight shipments.
• Process shipping documentation and update shipment details in internal systems.
• Assist with department inventory tracking and basic inventory control tasks.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
