Job summary

Dura-Line in Elyria, OH is seeking a Shipping Technician to manage shipping from the Sugar Lane location and coordinate drivers, deliveries, and pickups.

You will perform inventory control, cycle counts, and receive goods in SAP, ensure accurate paperwork, and maintain a clean, 5S+2 compliant work area in a busy plant.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:15pm with competitive benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), PTO and bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years forklift experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or distribution.
• Basic computer skills and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems including shipping/receiving, FIFO, cycle counting and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including processing and printing bills of lading and related paperwork.
• Receive goods in SAP with appropriate documentation and storage.
• Examine outgoing shipments for defects.
• Assemble and package products and materials.
• Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers and padding as needed.
• Adhere, stamp, glue and label shipping information and instructions on boxes, reels, containers and documentation.
• Maintain a neat work area and shipping yard in accordance with 5S+2 standards.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $20-25/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
