Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to guide daily warehouse operations, train team members, and ensure safety and accuracy in shipping tasks. The role includes coordinating with the Supervisor, maintaining PkMS records, and operating powered equipment to move and ship products.

Candidates should have strong leadership and communication skills, a high school diploma, and prior warehouse experience; certification to operate powered equipment is preferred or to be obtained if

Demonstrated ability to lead a team and train staff.
Strong safety and housekeeping knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Guides and trains the team to meet production, quality, and service goals.
Monitors safety policies, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
Keeps Supervisor informed of performance, needs, and concerns.
Performs production tasks within the team as needed.
Operates powered equipment to move, stage, or ship product.
Maintains records of product movement and tasks in PkMS.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
