Techniplas, LLC is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to ensure accurate and timely shipping, support production, and drive warehouse efficiency. The role focuses on workflow coordination from receiving to shipping, safety coaching, and 5S housekeeping.

You will mentor a team to improve productivity, reduce waste, and align with customer schedules. ERP/MRP proficiency and forklift experience are highly valued.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including problem-solving and team motivation.
• Forklift experience.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation and execution of warehouse processes and procedures with supervision.
• Coordinate daily workflow to ship and receive products on time.
• Monitor pace and flow of product from receiving through shipping.
• Ensure productivity meets customer schedules and optimize operations.
• Coach the warehouse team to prioritize safety, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and coordinate workload redistribution as needed.
• Track discrepancies between inventory and stock records and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and reconciliation of outsourced processes.

Techniplas has long-term relationships with many of the world’s leading automotive and industrial OEMs.SUMMARY OF POSITION:The Shipping Team Lead provides excellent service to our customers by ensuring the Shipping team is accurately shipping required products on time and supports production activities through proper inspection and receiving activities.JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Along with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and Warehouse Manager, leads implementation & execution of warehouse processes and procedures.Coordinates daily workflow in order to ship and receive products on time.Monitors the pace and flow of product from receiving through shipping.Ensures warehouse productivity requirements are met to meet customer schedules and maximize operational efficiency.Reports any issues to the Supervisor in a timely fashion.Coaches and leads the warehouse team to first and foremost work safely, increase productivity, and reduce waste.Maintains housekeeping and supports 5S initiatives for the warehouse and surrounding area.Assists with coordinating daily workload and redistributing duties as needed.Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped, and on methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.Tracks the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.Responsible for shipping, receiving, firming work orders, and reconciliation of outsourced processes.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):3 - 5 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics environmentExcellent communication skills, including problem-solving and team motivation.Forklift experience.Organizational and time management skills.Ability to work efficiently as a team player in a diverse work groupStrong knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):ERP knowledge is a plusStrong PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with integrated databases.Experience in Visual Flow/Kanban environment, cellular manufacturing, and MRP systems.Understanding of and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing
