Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Shipping Team Lead for 2nd shift in Fort Mill, SC. You will guide associates in preparing pallets for shipment, conduct daily team meetings, and ensure loads are correctly staged and shipped on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution center operations and knowledge of layout, product catalog numbers, and handling characteristics.
• Certification and ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklift, dock stocker, order picker, turret).
• Demonstrated leadership and strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with WMS reporting/display; RDT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Job:

• Conduct Team meetings daily to delegate tasks and announce daily goals.

The Person:

• Experience in distribution center operations, with general knowledge of layout, product catalog numbers, and handling characteristics.
• Certification and ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklift, dock stocker, order picker, turret).
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management System) reporting/display; RDT (Radio Data Transmitter) experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds independently.
