Job summary

Crider Foods is seeking a Cook Shipping Supervisor to oversee the Cook Shipping department, ensuring finished products are prepared, packaged, and shipped per orders and regulatory standards.

You'll lead shifts, coach staff, enforce GMP, HACCP, and food safety, drive continuous improvement, and ensure on-time production while managing labor and costs. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on operations experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of ready-to-eat processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Excellent knowledge of GMPs.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Cook Shipping department.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining food safety and quality.
• Monitor production performance and resolve issues to prevent downtime.
• Prepare equipment, staffing, and materials for efficient operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop first and second shift team members.
• Train employees on SOPs, food safety, quality systems, and safe work practices.
• Develop Lead Supervisors with tools and support for success.
• Conduct regular meetings covering Food Safety, Employee Safety, GMP compliance, and production improvements.
