Job summary

Creatorsworkhere is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead a fast-paced e-commerce shipping operation across multiple packing processes, ensuring on-time, accurate orders and maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and process compliance.

This role works with a team of 30–35 associates, rising to 45–50 during peak season, and collaborates with Picking and Flow Lead to keep product flow steady. Strong leadership and scheduling skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in e-commerce fulfillment, distribution, warehousing, or a high-volume shipping environment.
• Experience directly leading hourly warehouse employees in a production-driven operation.
• Demonstrated experience managing daily workload, labor allocation, productivity, and shipping deadlines.
• Strong understanding of packing, shipping, scanning, order accuracy, and carrier processes.
• Experience managing employee performance using productivity and quality metrics.
• Strong floor presence with the ability to identify developing problems and make timely decisions.
• Ability to manage a live, fluctuating order environment and adjust labor and priorities throughout the day.
• Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with warehouse systems and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily shipping labor and production plans.
• Monitor live order flow and adjust plans to meet SLA and carrier cutoffs.
• Oversee packaging, labeling, and order verification for all packing processes.
• Ensure outbound scans, proper carrier handoffs, and dock readiness.
• Lead and coach associates to maintain productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with Picking and Flow Lead to maintain material flow.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure accurate transfers and special shipments.
