Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a Repack Team Member to support production and customer requirements by repacking products into customer containers. You will follow procedures to ensure quality, packaging, and labeling standards are met.

This role is on first or second shift (6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM), located at our Walker plant. You will demonstrate safe lifting techniques and adhere to plant rules, dress code, and cell phone policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• Demonstrates reliability, accountability and honesty in work tasks.
• Maintains positive relationships and resolves conflicts constructively.

Repack team members support production and customer requirements by repacking product from storage container into customer finished goods containers. Team members follow procedures to ensure that customer quality, packaging and labeling requirements are met.

What You’ll Do:

• Repack various parts into different containers.
• Print and label new containers via Plex.
• Complete one part number at a time.
• Communicate with supervision on daily objectives and repack requirements.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Understand and follows plant rules including proper dress, hair and cell phone usage.

When and Where:

We have 1st Shift / 6AM-2PM M-F or 2nd Shift 2PM-10PM M-F positions available located at ourPlant in Walker** , MI**.

Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

What You Need to Have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• Has high standards of performance for self.
