Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a 2nd shift supervisor to oversee workers verifying and recording shipments at our Walker, MI plant. You will ensure compliance with quality policies, conduct training, and drive corrective actions as needed.

Requirements include a degree or equivalent, 5–15 years of relevant experience, and a strong sense of ownership and teamwork. We offer competitive benefits and ESOP participation.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 to 15 years of relevant experience and/or training

Who We Want:

What You’ll Do:
  • Understand and explain company’s quality policy
  • Understand and explain all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Participate in preventative actions where appropriate.
  • Conduct corrective actions and preform problem solving analysis and reporting as required.
  • Participate in needs analysis and attend and preform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs.
  • Conduct physical inventories of all product and operations as required.
  • Works with customers on returnable containers maintenance.
  • Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
When and Where:

This will be a 2nd Shift / 1:30PM-10:30PM M-F position located at our Plant in Walker, MI. Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.
