Job summary
Parker Aerospace is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. You will supervise staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety compliance while optimizing processes to meet company goals.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor degree in a related field with 5–7 years of manufacturing shipping/materials experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of SAP/inventory software to drive
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience in shipping or materials management in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with SAP and inventory software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- APICS certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with procurement to manage stock levels.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Lead lean initiatives such as 5S and standard work.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and staffing.
