Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Danville, KY. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while managing staff and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, budget support, and continuous improvement initiatives using 5S and lean practices to boost productivity and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years in shipping or materials management in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.
• Experience with SAP and inventory software.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• APICS certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts, and coordinate with procurement and operations.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Manage maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors).
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory, and staff productivity.
• Coordinate with logistics and customer service for timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in managing warehouse budgets (labor, equipment, supplies).
• Lead lean initiatives (5S, standard work, visual management) to improve safety and flow.
