Job summary

MSI is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving role in Aurora, CO. The position involves reviewing shipping orders on a tablet, verifying documentation, picking and palletizing orders, and operating forklifts as needed. Expect about 60% manual labor with up to 40% forklift use.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus occasional Saturdays. Pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour with overtime at 1.5x. New hires typically earn $47,000–$71,500 annually depending on experience, overtime, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with a tablet or iPad.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Select and palletize flooring orders, then shrink-wrap to secure heavy loads.
• Read shipping orders to determine required transportation.
• Verify shipping documents and maintain related data.
• Collect outbound freight documentation and route to records.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with carrier representatives for loading instructions.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform equipment checks and preventative maintenance.
