Job summary

MSI is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate in Phoenix to review shipping orders on a tablet, pick and palletize flooring products, and coordinate outbound freight. The role involves frequent forklift use and up to 60% manual labor, with structured hours Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays.

The job pays $18.75–$21.75 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x. New hires typically earn $47,000–$62,600 yearly depending on experience and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with a tablet or iPad.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials.
• Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data.
• Collect documentation for outbound freight and route it to the appropriate record-keeping unit.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.
