Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler in Canton, OH for a contract-to-hire role onsite. You will operate tow motors and forklifts, package products for shipment, and build crates with hand and power tools while keeping accurate shipping records. This role supports inventory tasks and requires adherence to safety policies.

The position is full-time, onsite in Canton with a pay range of $19.00–$24.00 per hour and weekly pay. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving or operating forklifts/tow motors.
• Proven forklift/tow motor experience in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Experience with overhead cranes and basic rigging.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow motors and forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Handle finished products and package securely for shipment.
• Build shipping crates using hand/power tools.
• Use overhead cranes and basic rigging for lifting and transport.
• Band crates and secure loads for shipping/safety.
• Use computers/Excel to document and track materials.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean shipping area.
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking.
• Perform additional duties in material handling as needed.
