Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor in Calhoun, GA to lead and optimize inventory control, receiving, and shipping operations. You will manage hourly staff, ensure accuracy, and drive improvements in safety and efficiency to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of management experience in shipping/receiving/inventory control
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
• Ability to interpret domestic and international shipping documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and delegation abilities
• Knowledge of 5S principles and maintaining a safe, organized environment
• Ability to track, develop, and present performance metrics to senior management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shipping and Receiving teams, provide performance assessments, identify training needs and drive improvements.
• Evaluate logistics providers, assess effectiveness, suggest changes to improve service levels.
• Implement 5S practices for finished inventory to keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Manage schedules to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Oversee shipping/receiving paperwork and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure on-time production and delivery by coordinating resources with logistics teams.
• Conduct quality audits and resolve issues in shipping/receiving processes.
• Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and increase efficiency.
• Inform operations daily of shortages or potential delays affecting production or delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production and shipping needs.
