Job Summary

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all incoming materials are received, processed and distributed in a timely manner. This position will supervise the Receiving Team and assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

• Administer and oversee daily warehouse operations including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned area.
• Resolve issues timely and effectively on a moderate scope.
• Exercise judgment and decision making within defined company procedures and policies to determine appropriate actions.
• Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi‑skilled non‑exempt employees.

Experience & Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
• Effective communication in group or presentation settings. Understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.
• Ability to regularly push/pull and/or lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
