Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee warehouse shipping and receiving, ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, on time, and compliant.

You will lead a hands-on team, manage inventory accuracy, and drive continuous process improvements across operations with internal departments, vendors, and carriers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in shipping or warehouse operations.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business.
• Familiarity with shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs).
• Forklift certification.

Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor oversees all warehouse shipping and receiving operations, ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role leads and develops a team of warehouse personnel, manages inventory accuracy, monitors shipping performance metrics, and drives continuous process improvements. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and carriers, resolving shipping issues, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong experience in team management, logistics, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
